Verification of BPMN Model Functional Completeness by using the Topological Functioning Model

Proceedings of the 11th International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Software Approaches to Software Engineering, 2016
BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) models are used to specify business knowledge in the language that is familiar for business people. They consist of multiple process diagrams that highlight different aspects of interaction among participants.

Topological modeling of brain functioning

2017 E-Health and Bioengineering Conference (EHB), 2017
in this paper, topological parameters are considered, since topology gives the initial meaning to the structure of networks. A technique is proposed that allows determining the key topological characteristics of networks and giving them quantitative and qualitative estimates. To determine the direction of development of structures, a principle has been

Meaning of Cause-and-effect Relations of the Topological Functioning Model in the UML Analysis Model

open access: yesProceedings of the 12th International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Approaches to Software Engineering, 2017
Topological Functioning Model specifies functional and structural characteristics of a system in the holistic manner. Cause-and-effect relations link cause and effect functional characteristics of the system, illustrating causality in it. The Unified Modelling Language (UML) provides its own relationship kinds among elements.

Topological Functioning Model as a CIM-Business Model

2011
The first model in Model Driven Architecture (MDA) is a Computation Independent Model (CIM) that specifies domain information. One of issues discussed in this chapter is the meaning of “computation independence”. Another one is formalism of CIMs. And the last issue discussed is a use of a Topological Functioning Model (TMF) for problem domain modeling ...

CORRELATION FUNCTIONS FOR TOPOLOGICAL LANDAU-GINZBURG MODELS WITH c≤3

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 1992
We discuss c≤3 topological Landau-Ginzburg models. In particular we give the potential for the three exceptional models E6,7,8 in the constant metric coordinates of coupling constant space and derive the generating function F for correlation functions.

New topological aspects of fermionic correlation functions in the Schwinger model

Physical Review D, 1990
We perform the path-integral bosonization of the Schwinger model in a topologically nontrivial sector. We show the existence of certain fermionic correlation functions which, being zero if only the trivial topological sector is considered, develop nonzero values due to the presence of the topological configuration.

Topological Information Content and Expressiveness of Function Models in Mechanical Design

Journal of Computing and Information Science in Engineering, 2010
In this paper, two approaches for computing the topological information content of function models in mechanical engineering design are developed and compared. Previously, a metric for computing information content of functions and flows within function models was proposed.

The Validation Possibility of Topological Functioning Model using the Cameo Simulation Toolkit

open access: yesProceedings of the 11th International Conference on Evaluation of Novel Software Approaches to Software Engineering, 2016
According to requirements provided by customers, the description of to-be functionality of software systems needs to be provided at the beginning of the software development process. Documentation and functionality of this system can be displayed as the Topological Functioning Model (TFM) in the form of a graph.

Topological Modelling as a Tool for Analysis of Functioning Systems

2013
This article presents a mathematical model construction approach for functioning systems. To perform functioning system analyses with the goal to establish correct work conditions, heuristical problem solving way and mathematical modeling can be used.
