Stability of bicalicene isomers: A topological study [PDF]
Bicalicene is the conjugated hydrocarbon obtained by joining two calicene fragments. This can be done in two different ways, thus resulting in two bicalicene isomers (tentatively referred to as cis and trans).

Stability of topological black holes [PDF]
We explore the classical stability of topological black holes in d-dimensional anti-de Sitter spacetime, where the horizon is an Einstein manifold of negative curvature. According to the gauge invariant formalism of Ishibashi and Kodama, gravitational perturbations are classified as being of scalar, vector, or tensor type, depending on their ...

Stability of topological wall defects on spheres with n-atic order
Topological point defects on orientationally ordered spheres and on deformable fluid vesicles have been investigated, partly motivated by their potential applications in creating superatoms with directional bonds through functionalization of the “bald ...

Driven-dissipative topological phases in parametric resonator arrays [PDF]
We study the phenomena of topological amplification in arrays of parametric oscillators. We find two phases of topological amplification, both with directional transport and exponential gain with the number of sites, and one of them featuring squeezing ...

On the Stability of Barrelled Topologies II [PDF]
If E is a Hausdorff barrelled space, which does not already have its finest locally convex topology, then the continuous dual E′ may be enlarged within the algebraic dual E*. Robertson and Yeomans [10] have recently investigated whether E can retain the barrelled property under such enlargements.

Topological Descriptors on Some Families of Graphs
In view of the successful applications of graph theory, relationships between the biological activity and chemical structure have been developed. One of the popular topics in graph theory is problems relating to topological indices.

TOPOLOGICAL STRUCTURAL STABILITY ON PROJECTED SPACES
In this work we study the topological structural stability for a family of nonlinear semigroups Th(·) on Banach spaces Xh which dependent on a parameter h.

On the stability of barrelled topologies, I [PDF]
This note investigates, for locally convex topological vector spaces, the question of how far the property of being barrelled is stable under small increase in the size of the dual space. If the dual F of a barrelled space E is enlarged by a finite dimensional vector space M, then E remains barrelled under the new Mackey topology τ(E, F+M).

Standard model as the topological material
The study of the Weyl and Dirac topological materials (topological semimetals, insulators, superfluids and superconductors) opens the route for the investigation of the topological quantum vacua of relativistic fields. The symmetric phase of the standard

Topologically protected vortex knots and links
Ordered materials, such as liquid crystals and Bose-Einstein condensates, support topological vortices, which are analogous to vortices in water, but have qualitatively different properties.
