Topological transitions in metals
We investigate if a sharp topological transition in a metal with a large Fermi surface may be detected in transport measurements. In particular, we address if a skew scattering and a side jump on elastic disorder in the bulk of such a metal masks signatures of the topological transition.

The Mott transition as a topological phase transition [PDF]
We show that the Mott metal-insulator transition in the standard one-band Hubbard model can be understood as a topological phase transition. Our approach is inspired by the observation that the mid-gap pole in the self-energy of a Mott insulator resembles the zero-energy spectral pole of the localized surface state in a topological insulator.

Electric field driven quantum phase transition between band insulator and topological insulator [PDF]
We demonstrate theoretically that electric field can drive a quantum phase transition between band insulator to topological insulator in CdTe/HgCdTe/CdTe quantum wells.

Light‐Induced Quantum Anomalous Hall Effect on the 2D Surfaces of 3D Topological Insulators
Quantum anomalous Hall (QAH) effect generates quantized electric charge Hall conductance without external magnetic field. It requires both nontrivial band topology and time‐reversal symmetry (TRS) breaking.

Room-Temperature Topological Phase Transition in Quasi-One-Dimensional Material Bi_{4}I_{4}
Quasi-one-dimensional (1D) materials provide a superior platform for characterizing and tuning topological phases for two reasons: (i) existence for multiple cleavable surfaces that enables better experimental identification of topological classification
