Expediting Experiments across Testbeds with AnyBed: A Testbed-Independent Topology Configuration System and Its Tool Set [PDF]
Building an experimental network within a testbed has been a tiresome process for experimenters, due to the complexity of the physical resource assignment and the configuration overhead.

Computing the topology of configuration space [PDF]
The problem of planning collision-free paths for manipulators is considered. An algorithm is presented for generating the connectivity graph for a class of articulated manipulators. The algorithm is based upon the ability to determine whether two distinct obstacles in configuration space intersect.

Configuration spaces and homological stability [PDF]
In this thesis we study the homological behaviour of configuration spaces as the number of objects in the configuration goes to infinity. For unordered configurations of distinct points (possibly equipped with some internal parameters) in a connected ...

A manifold associated to a topological (n_k) configuration
In the study of topological ( n k ) configurations in the projective plane we have n pseudo-lines and n points. Precisely k of these points are incident with each pseudo-line and, vice versa, precisely k pseudo-lines are incident with each point. We describe a non-orientable 2 -manifold associated in a natural way to a topological

THE TOPOLOGY OF SUBSPACES OF THE CONFIGURATION SPACE OF SPATIAL PENTAGONS
We assume that four bond angles of a spatial hexagon are . According to the choice of the four bond angles, we define the configuration spaces , and . We determine the topological types of these spaces.

Topological spectrum of classical configurations [PDF]
For any classical field configuration or mechanical system with a finite number of degrees of freedom we introduce the concept of topological spectrum. It is based upon the assumption that for any classical configuration there exists a principle fiber bundle that contains all the physical and geometric information of the configuration.
