Controlling cluster synchronization by adapting the topology [PDF]
We suggest an adaptive control scheme for the control of zero-lag and cluster synchronization in delay-coupled networks. Based on the speed-gradient method, our scheme adapts the topology of a network such that the target state is realized.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

An improved algorithm of LEACH based on QoS
Based upon clustering LEACH algorithm,a QBL(QoS-based LEACH)algorithm is proposed in this article aiming at improvement in energy saving, network delay, life time and reliability. The QBL algorithm, armed with new algorithm of weighting in selecting cluster ...

Control of Networked Multiagent Systems with Uncertain Graph Topologies
Multiagent systems consist of agents that locally exchange information through a physical network subject to a graph topology. Current control methods for networked multiagent systems assume the knowledge of graph topologies in order to design ...

Functional network changes and cognitive control in schizophrenia [PDF]
Cognitive control is a cognitive and neural mechanism that contributes to managing the complex demands of day-to-day life. Studies have suggested that functional impairments in cognitive control associated brain circuitry contribute to a broad range of ...

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Method and Algorithms for Computing Fuzzy Fréchet and Hausdorff Distance
Accurate image similarity assessment is a key problem in computer vision, particularly in segmentation and classification problems. Classical Hausdorff and Fréchet metrics provide pointwise distance values and do not allow similarity to be evaluated in ...

Topology Control in Heterogeneous Wireless Networks: Problems and Solutions [PDF]
Previous work on topology control usually assumes homogeneous wireless nodes with uniform transmission ranges. In this paper, we propose two localized topology control algorithms for heterogeneous wireless multi-hop networks with nonuniform transmission ...
