Performance Evaluation of UAV-Enabled LoRa Networks for Disaster Management Applications
In hostile and remote environments, such as mountains, forests or suburban areas, traditional communications may not be available, especially after a disaster, such as a flood, a forest fire or an earthquake.

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Study on network reconfiguration algorithms in software-defined sensor networks
In order to improve the performances and adaptabilities of wireless sensor networks the architecture of soft-ware-defined sensor network (SDSN) was proposed and the studies were focused on the network reconfiguration algo-rithm of SDSN. In the algorithm,

New AI‐Assisted Approach for Expanding the Solution Space: Application to Lattice Structure Design
This work introduces an innovative framework for designing structured materials by ex panding the design space through reparameterization of qualitative variables into continuous structural descriptors. Combined with machine‐learning‐based prediction and multi‐objective optimization, the approach enables the discovery of novel lattice architectures ...

Collaborative Topology Control for Many-to-One Communications in Wireless Sensor Networks
Topology control is relevant in wireless sensor network because of two reasons, namely minimal sensor coverage and power constraints. The former condition is typically satisfied by high-density deployment, whereas the latter mainly concerns with the ...

Digitalizing electroplating requires both domain knowledge and interoperability. This work introduces PlatOn, a domain ontology for trivalent chromium plating and coating characterization, and a hybrid pipeline that aligns it to a mid‐level reference ontology by combining eight similarity metrics with language model reasoning. Expert‐validated mappings

Localized Fault Tolerant and Connectivity Restoration Algorithms in Mobile Wireless Ad Hoc Network
Due to the dynamic characteristics of mobile wireless ad hoc networks, a node may join or leave/fail at anytime, and links are usually intermittently unavailable. The destruction of the network connectivity would dramatically degrade the performance.
