Wrinkling of Toroidal Shells in Free Hydroforming
In this study, we investigated toroidal shell wrinkling in free hydroforming. We specifically focused on toroidal shells with a regular hexagonal cross-section. Membrane theory was used to examine the distribution of stress and yield load in both preform

Ultra‐low‐frequency waves in the magnetosphere often produce field line resonances with strong spatial gradients in wave amplitude. We analyze a form of drift resonance driven by these gradients near the resonant field line.

Overcoming the Trade-Off Between Magnetic Coupling and Electrical Insulation in Soft Magnetic Materials via Nanochain Engineering. [PDF]
This study employs a nanochain engineering approach combined with an in situ oxidation strategy to fabricate self‐insulating iron‐based magnetic nanochains, addressing the challenge of balancing magnetic coupling and electrical insulation in soft magnetic materials.

FINITE DEFORMATIONS OF A TOROIDAL SHELL
The stress-strain state of a nonlinear elastic shell exposed to the internal pressure is considered. A surface of the shell is toroidal in shape in the initial state. The Lagrangian coordinates of the shell are assigned to a cylindrical system. The kinematic characteristics of the process are shown: a law of the motion of points, vectors of a material ...

Surface cracks in toroidal shells [PDF]
Toroidal shells containing a surface crack and subjected to various symmetric and antisymmetric loading conditions are considered. A singular integral formulation of a through crack located along a principal line of curvature of a shell is used along with the line spring model to treat the surface crack problem.

Vibration analysis of an elastic toroidal tank considering nonlinearity of sloshing
The vibration of an elastic toroidal tank induced by nonlinear sloshing is analyzed. A computationally efficient semi-analytical method is presented for sloshing in a toroidal tank with circular meridional cross-section, for which it is customary to ...
