Low‐Angle Grain Boundaries and Re‐Segregation in Single‐Crystalline Ni‐Base Superalloys
This work demonstrates that Re‐segregation at low‐angle grain boundaries (LAGBs) in Ni‐base superalloys is influenced by misorientation angle. Advanced microscopy and atom probe tomography reveal that higher misorientation angles increases Re‐segregation.

In the chapter we discussed a control approach for torque control of gasoline engines. Because of several actuating variables and control requirements the process to be controlled is multivariable. The actuating variables are usually bounded and the effects on the engine torque are nonlinear.

Torque Vector Control and Direct Force Control in a Three-Phase Bearing-Less Induction Motor [PDF]
Bearing-less induction motors (BLIMs) are suitable candidates for high-speed applications but suffer from low torque density and complex control issues due to the interaction of torque and levitation forces.
