Generation of asymmetric incommensurable torque signals
Abstract Asymmetric incommensurable torque signals can be achieved by exploiting magnetic nonpolar repulsion techniques, see also [1], aiming at designing kinetic energy harvester (KEH) systems. This paper confirms by using three different simulation methods that an asymmetric incommensurable torque signal is feasible to be reached ...

Theory of spin transport induced by the temperature gradient
Spin transport driven by the temperature gradient in ferromagnetic metals is studied based on a microscopic theory. It is shown that the temperature gradient works as an effective field equivalent to the electric field as for both the spin current ...

Parametric finite-element studies on the effect of tool shape in friction stir welding [PDF]
The success of the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) process, and the weld quality produced, depends significantly on the design of the welding tool. In this paper the effect of variation in various tool geometry parameters on FSW process outcomes, during the ...

Spin torque resonant vortex core expulsion for an efficient radio-frequency detection scheme [PDF]
Spin-polarised radio-frequency currents, whose frequency is equal to that of the gyrotropic mode, will cause an excitation of the core of a magnetic vortex confined in a magnetic tunnel junction.

Amino acids sequence of two different proteins with the same sequence (chameleon sequence—black boxes) represent in 3D structure of the proteins different secondary structures: HHHH—helical and BBB—Beta‐structural. The chains folded in water environment adopt different III‐order structures in which the chameleon fragments appear to adopt similar status

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Optimum Design of a SRM Using FEM and PSO [PDF]
Nowadays the use of the Switched Reluctance Motors (SRMs) has been considerably increased in various home and industrial applications. Despite of many advantages of this type of motors, such as simple structure, low cost, and high reliability, the main ...
