In practical engineering, buildings are predominantly subjected to combined forces, and reinforced concrete (RC) beams serve as the primary load-bearing components of buildings. However, there is a paucity of research on the torsional effects of RC beams,

Abstract We introduce a trilinear functional of differential one-forms for a finitely summable regular spectral triple with a noncommutative residue. We demonstrate that for a canonical spectral triple over a closed spin manifold it recovers the torsion of the linear connection.

Meta‐Rod Mechanical Metamaterials With Programmable Reconfiguration
Existing mechanical metamaterials achieve programmable large deformations in planar square or cubic configurations, restricted by required complex boundary conditions. This research proposes a 1D metamaterial, Meta‐rod, with linear, bending, twisting, area, and volume deformation modes.

A Si anode comprising entangled networks of cellulose and SWCNT (C‐CNT) nanocomposites as an anode electrode for a high‐performance LIB is realized by fully utilizing the generated microstructure of a novel conductive 3D scaffold via a low‐temperature and eco‐friendly process. Additionally, localized heating via photo‐thermal conversion can be utilized

Domain Wall Rebounds Driven by Competing Entropic and Spin‐Transfer Torques in Cylindrical Nanowires
Domain‐wall motion in cylindrical magnetic nanowires driven by nanosecond current pulses. Low current densities efficiently displace domain walls, whereas higher currents cause rebound at the wire ends. The effect results from the interplay between spin‐transfer torque and thermally induced processes, highlighting the role of thermal gradients in ...

Relativistic Scalar Particle Systems in a Spacetime with a Spiral-like Dislocation
We have analyzed solutions of bound states of a scalar particle in spacetime with torsion. In the first analysis, we investigate the confinement of a scalar particle in a cylindrical shell.

Hydrocarbon membranes are a greener alternative to PFSA in PEM fuel cells, but degrade rapidly from radical attack. We present a novel strategy using poly(vinylphosphonic acid) (PVPA) as a local radical scavenger. Incorporated as an interfacial barrier, PVPA enhances chemical stability and significantly extends membrane lifetime under accelerated ...
