Multi‐Li+ Coordination for Superior Room‐Temperature Ionic Conductivity in PEO Solid Electrolytes
A phosphonate‐functionalized polycarboxylate ether (P‐PCE) is introduced into PEO electrolytes to induce multi‐Li+ ions coordination, which effectively dissociates lithium salts, liberates Li+ from the strong chelation by PEO chains, and promotes fast Li+ hopping between adjacent coordination sites. Simultaneously, this design establishes dynamic, high‐

Torsional rigidity of steel square tubes with elastic anisotropy
Elastic moduli of metal sheets have planar anisotropy determined by crystalline texture. Texture control is effective in raising Young's modulus of steel sheets in some directions on the plane.

Chalcogen substitution emerges as a powerful strategy for designing high‐performance OMIECs. In aliphatic–glycol side chain diketopyrrolopyrrole polymers, biselenophene incorporation promotes a planar, polarizable, and doping‐tolerant quinoidal framework, enabling PDPP‐4EG‐Se2 to combine high hole mobility, large µC*, enhanced operational stability ...

Background Adjacent segment disease (ASD) is a common complication after posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF). Recently, a topping-off surgery (non-fusion with Coflex) has been developed to reduce the risk of ASD, yet whether and how the topping-off ...

Continuum Mechanics Modeling of Flexible Spring Joints in Surgical Robots
A new mechanical model of a tendon‐actuated helical extension spring joint in surgical robots is built using Cosserat rod theory. The model can implicitly handle the unknown contacts between adjacent coils and numerically predict spring shapes from straight to significantly bent under actuation forces.

Why Are Bone Torsional Rigidity and Stiffness Measurements Often Inaccurate?
This study aims to raise awareness about the widespread use of flawed torsion test setups for measuring the stiffness-related torsional mechanical properties of bone, both in previous studies and in current practice.

Liquid Crystalline Elastomers in Soft Robotics: Assessing Promise and Limitations
Liquid crystalline elastomers (LCEs) are programmable soft materials that undergo large, anisotropic deformation in response to external stimuli. Their molecular alignment encodes directional actuation in a monolithic structure, making them long‐standing candidates for soft robotic systems.

TORSIONAL RIGIDITY AND INFINITE SUMS
The torsional rigidity of a piecewise smoothly bounded domain Ω ⊂R3 is a geometric invariant first studied in the context of elastic bodies. Torsional rigidity is well studied for many geometric bodies and plays an important role in analysis. We establish
