Comprehensive Multispectroscopic and Molecular Docking Investigation of the Anticancer Drug Idarubicin–Bovine Serum Albumin Interaction

open access: yesLuminescence, Volume 41, Issue 5, May 2026.
The idarubicin–bovine serum albumin interaction was comprehensively investigated using multispectroscopic techniques and molecular docking. The results reveal concentration‐dependent binding, conformational changes in BSA, and static quenching behavior, supported by UV–Vis, fluorescence, FT‐IR, and DLS analyses, confirming stable complex formation ...

Zinc‐Mediated Photodegradation of Nitrophenols in Aqueous Solution: Devising Environmental Mitigation Strategies With Ultrafast Spectroscopic Insights

open access: yesElectron, Volume 4, Issue 2, May 2026.
We implement a suite of steady‐state and time‐resolved spectroscopic techniques to elucidate the zinc‐mediated photodegradation of nitrophenols in aqueous solution. From ultrafast electronic spectroscopy of aci‐nitrophenol on femtosecond‐to‐nanosecond timescales to tracking photoproducts with absorption and vibrational signatures (through ground‐state ...

Appearance Inspection‐Based Typical Damage Investigation of Concrete Curved Girder‐Type Bridges Subjected to Temperature and Vehicle Effect

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 5, May 2026.
Technical approach of the article. ABSTRACT This study focuses primarily on concrete curved girder‐type bridges, which are commonly used for urban roads and highways. Over the last two decades, practical experience in bridge engineering has shown that these bridges have unique mechanical and damage characteristics, unlike conventional straight bridges.

Analytical Floor Response Spectra for Performance‐Based Seismic Design of Non‐structural Elements in Reinforced Concrete Frame Buildings

open access: yesEarthquake Engineering &Structural Dynamics, Volume 55, Issue 6, Page 1292-1312, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Damage to non‐structural elements significantly impacts the seismic performance of buildings in terms of economic and functionality losses. Consequently, performance‐based seismic design of non‐structural elements has become a key pillar of a comprehensive building‐seismic resilience strategy, for instance, through loss‐targeted earthquake ...
