On the domination of triangulated discs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2023
summary:Let $G$ be a $3$-connected triangulated disc of order $n$ with the boundary cycle $C$ of the outer face of $G$. Tokunaga (2013) conjectured that $G$ has a dominating set of cardinality at most $\frac 14(n+2)$.

On the {2}-domination number of graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
[EN] Let G be a nontrivial graph and k ¿ 1 an integer. Given a vector of nonnegative integers w = (w0,...,wk), a function f : V(G) ¿ {0,..., k} is a w-dominating function on G if f(N(v)) ¿ wi for every v ¿ V(G) such that f(v) = i. The w-domination number

Protection of Lexicographic Product Graphs

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae Graph Theory, 2022
In this paper, we study the weak Roman domination number and the secure domination number of lexicographic product graphs. In particular, we show that these two parameters coincide for almost all lexicographic product graphs. Furthermore, we obtain tight

Double domination in lexicographic product graphs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
[EN] In a graph G, a vertex dominates itself and its neighbours. A subset S subset of V(G) is said to be a double dominating set of G if S dominates every vertex of G at least twice.

Domination parameters with number 2: interrelations and algorithmic consequences [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, we study the most basic domination invariants in graphs, in which number 2 is intrinsic part of their definitions. We classify them upon three criteria, two of which give the following previously studied invariants: the weak $2$-domination

A Borane Sandwich Analogue of Ferrocene

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
The first ferrocene analogue with two boron‐based ligands is identified through a global exploration of the FeB10H20 potential energy surface. The η5,η5‐Fe(B5H10)2 complex emerges as the global minimum, showing that metal coordination inverts borane stability and enables aromatic boron rings inaccessible in isolation.

Experimental Demonstration of Temporally Aware Fault‐Tolerant Sensor Fusion Using Memristive Associative Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
In dynamic driving scenarios, the proposed approach ensures only temporally aligned sensor inputs to make driving decisions, preventing false activations. By enabling selective hardware‐level learning, it achieves fast, reliable responses under noisy conditions.

Advanced Experiment Design Strategies for Drug Development

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Wang et al. analyze 592 drug development studies published between 2020 and 2024 that applied design of experiments methodologies. The review surveys both classical and emerging approaches—including Bayesian optimization and active learning—and identifies a critical gap between advanced experimental strategies and their practical adoption in ...

Remote Roca: Integrating Data From Archaeological Survey, Remote Sensing and Geophysics in the Hinterland at the Long‐Lasting Mediterranean Site of Rocavecchia (Apulia, Italy)

open access: yesArchaeological Prospection, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study presents a multi‐method non‐invasive investigation of an approximately 4‐ha area associated with the long‐occupied coastal settlement of Rocavecchia (Apulia, southern Italy), situated between the prehistoric fortified peninsula and the Hellenistic‐Messapian walls.
