Block-Toeplitz/Hankel structured total least squares
A multivariate structured total least squares problem is considered, in which the extended data matrix is partitioned into blocks and each of the blocks is block-Toeplitz/Hankel structured, unstructured, or noise free.

A note on the scaled total least squares problem
In this note, we present two results on the scaled total least squares problem. First, we discuss the relation between the scaled total least squares and the least squares problems.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

On the equivalence between Total Least Squares and Maximum Likelihood PCA
The maximum likelihood PCA (MLPCA) method has been devised in chemometrics as a generalization of the well-known PCA method in order to derive consistent estimators in the presence of errors with known error distribution.

The Improvement Based on the DV-Hop Localization Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks
As the problems of lower localization accuracy appeared in the traditional DV-Hop algorithm, the author analyzed three main factors that influence the localization accuracy of original DV-Hop algorithm which started from the calculation of the average ...
