Total organic carbon removal instrumentation

Filtration + Separation, 2018
Organic compounds in water can indicate a failure in filtration and storage. Total organic carbon (TOC) instrumentation is used to analyse water and identify organic components. We discuss TOC in the wastewater industry and the type of instrumentation and methods employed.

Total soil organic carbon and carbon sequestration potential in Nigeria

Geoderma, 2016
Abstract This study aimed to quantify SOC stocks and potential C sequestration for Nigeria using legacy soil data. Mass preserving splines were fitted to legacy SOC and bulk density (BD) pedon data based on GlobalSoilmap soil depths. SOC concentrations (g kg −1 ) were predicted using Random Forest model (RFM), Cubist and Boosted regression tree (BRT).

Estimation of total organic carbon and brittleness volume

Interpretation, 2016
Abstract The Barnett Shale in the Fort Worth Basin is one of the most important resource plays in the USA. The total organic carbon (TOC) and brittleness can help to characterize a resource play to assist in the search for sweet spots.

Effects of coastal wetland reclamation on soil organic carbon, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus in China: A meta‐analysis

Land Degradation & Development, 2023
The reclamation of coastal wetlands for agriculture has expanded considerably over the last 40 years in China. Wetland reclamation could substantially alter soil properties, but so far, a systematic analysis of the changes in soil chemical elements after

Total Organic Carbon as a Quantitative Index of Micro- and Nano-Plastic Pollution.

Analytical Chemistry, 2022
The global pollution of micro- and nano-plastics (MNPs) calls for monitoring methods. As diverse mixtures of various sizes, morphologies, and chemical compositions in the environment, MNPs are currently quantified based on mass or number concentrations ...
