The LU-factorization of totally positive matrices
An n × n real matrix A is an STP (strictly totally positive) matrix if all its minors are strictly positive. An n × n real triangular matrix A is a ΔSTP matrix if all its nontrivial minors are strictly positive. It is proved that A is an STP matrix iff A

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

On the Unitary Representations of the Braid Group B6
We consider a non-abelian leakage-free qudit system that consists of two qubits each composed of three anyons. For this system, we need to have a non-abelian four dimensional unitary representation of the braid group B 6 to obtain a totally ...

Another Proof of the Total Positivity of the Discrete Spline Collocation Matrix
In [J. Approximation Theory 84, No. 3, 247-264 (1996; Zbl 0863.41006)] \textit{K. M. Mørken} gave necessary and sufficient conditions for a minor of a discrete B-spline collocation matrix to be strictly positive, correcting an earlier theorem of \textit{R. Q. Jia} [J. Approximation Theory 39, 11-23 (1983; Zbl 0515.41010)].

On Factorizations of Totally Positive Matrices
. Different approaches to the decomposition of a nonsingular totally positive matrix as a product of bidiagonal matrices are studied. Special attention is paid to the interpretation of the factorization in terms of the Neville elimination process of the ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
