[Subchronic toxicity test of transgenic rice].
Wei sheng yan jiu = Journal of hygiene research, 2006To observe the subchronic toxic effects of transgenic rice on rats.Based on gender and weight, 144 Wistar rats were randomly divided into three groups: transgenic rice group, nontransgenic rice group and AIN93G normal control group. They were fed for 90 days. Rats in transgenic rice group were fed with 73.2% transgenic rice. Rats in non-transgenic rice

Subchronic percutaneous toxicity testing of two liquid hand diswashing detergents
Food and Chemical Toxicology, 1988Subchronic percutaneous toxicity studies were conducted on two liquid dishwashing detergents containing anionic surfactants (C12-14 alkylethoxylate sulphate) to assess the safety of these materials for human exposure. The detergents were administered dermally to the shaved backs of rabbits (dose volume of 2 ml/kg body weight) at concentrations of 0, 0 ...

[Subchronic toxicity testing of mold-ripened cheese].
Zeitschrift fur Lebensmittel-Untersuchung und -Forschung, 1984The biological effects of known mycotoxins of Penicillium roqueforti or P. camemberti and other still unknown, but potentially toxic metabolites in mould ripened cheese (commercial samples of Blue- and Camembert cheese) were investigated. High amounts of mycelium (equivalents of 100 kg cheese/man and day) were fed to mice in a subchronic feeding trial.

Subchronic and Chronic Toxicity Tests of Fuyanxiao Capsules
Journal of Clinical and Nursing ResearchTo evaluate the subchronic and chronic toxicity of Fuyanxiao capsules, Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were used in toxicity studies. In the subchronic toxicity study, 50 female rats were randomly divided into a high-dose group (5.4g/kg/day) and a control group, with 15 rats in each, and medium (2.7g/kg/day) and low (1.35g/kg/day) dose groups, with 10 rats in

A subchronic toxicity study in rats and genotoxicity tests with an aqueous ethylcellulose dispersion
Food and Chemical Toxicology, 2005Surelease Aqueous Ethylcellulose Dispersion is an excipient used as a modified release coating for beads, granules, non-pariels, drug crystals and tablets and for taste masking applications for drug products and dietary supplement products. A study was conducted to assess the toxicity of spray-dried Surelease when administered orally, via dietary ...

Subchronic Toxicity Test of Transgenic Herbicide‐Tolerant Soybean ZH10‐6 in Rats
Journal of Applied ToxicologyABSTRACTThe herbicide‐tolerant soybean ZH10‐6 was developed by modifying the Zhonghuang 10 (ZH10) variety with the G2‐EPSPS and GAT genes, conferring resistance to glyphosate. This study aimed to assess the potential health effects of ZH10‐6 in Sprague–Dawley rats through a 90‐day subchronic toxicity test.

A subchronic oral toxicity study on a model liquid dishwashing detergent containing anionic surfactants was performed to verify that the formulation, made up of a mixture of various ingredients, did not possess any toxicological properties that would not have been expected from available data for each separate ingredient.

Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, 1996
Abstract The acute and 7-d subchronic toxicity of methylene blue were determined for fathead minnow larvae using U.S. Environmental Protection Agency methods. The 96-h lethal concentration (LC50) was 45 and 15 mg/L at 20 and 25°C, respectively. The 7-d chronic value for survival under laboratory light and low light was the same (2.1 mg/L)
