A Smart Fluid‐Hydraulic System Based on MRF Valve Control and Its Application in Flexible Grasping
This study introduces a smart fluid hydraulic system using MRF valve control for flexible gripping. An MRF‐MSV with an integrated excitation coil and micro‐textured damping channels is designed and validated; micro‐texturing increases hydraulic resistance. Coupled with a soft actuator, the MRF‐MSV enables dynamic bending and grasping.

İngilis Toyları ilə Bağlı İnanclar
Qədim dövrlərdən bu günə qədər keçirilən mərasimlər xalqın mədəniyyətinin, incəsənətinin, xarakterinin öyrənilməsində böyük rol oynayır. Mərasimlər qədim dövrlərdə daha çox dini-magik funksiya daşıyırdısa, sonrakı dövrlərdə onların əksəriyyəti öz ...

Combining template stripping with a graphene‐inspired transfer yields continuous, transferable gold films at 6‐inch wafer scale with thicknesses approaching the atomic limit. The atomically smooth, near‐bulk‐quality films offer above 86% transmittance and sub‐20 Ω/square sheet resistance, serving as a universal platform for flexible optoelectronics ...

A laser pointer‐guided robotic grasping method for arbitrary objects based on promptable segment anything model and force‐closure analysis is presented. Grasp generation methods based on force‐closure analysis can calculate the optimal grasps for objects through their appearances. However, the limited visual perception ability makes robots difficult to

Haptic In‐Sensor Computing Device Based on CNT/PDMS Nanocomposite Physical Reservoir
Using a porous carbon nanotube‐polydimethylsiloxane nanocomposite, a sensor array integrated with a physical reservoir computing paradigm capable of in‐sensor computing is demonstrated. The device is able to classify between nine objects with an accuracy above 80%, opening the possibility for low‐power sensing/computing for future robotics.

This paper introduces a resource‐aware Contrastive Scattering Meta‐Learning (CSML) framework for acoustic anomaly detection. By leveraging training‐free wavelet scattering and metric‐based meta‐learning, the model achieves competitive performance with only 50 K learnable parameters—a 98% reduction compared to state‐of‐the‐art frameworks—enabling ...

We developed methods to characterize soft contractile actuators using force–displacement measurements in the passive state and the total force in the active state and define the operational range of thermal, electrothermal, and pneumatic muscles. A graphical method enables the selection of an actuator based on the required mechanical force–displacement

Abstract Families' experience of homelessness is typically examined from the perspective of parents during or shortly after a shelter stay. Parents complain about rules, surveillance, crowding, and challenges to parenting in both homeless shelters and in doubling up with other households (sharing the others' homes), and relief when they attain their ...
