An origami worm‐inspired robot achieves multimodal locomotion in confined pipelines through mechatronic integration that embeds actuation, control, and communication within each origami module. Large, reversible configuration and dimensional changes enable 25 gaits synthesized by a unified framework across peristaltic, inchworm, and wheel‐rolling modes

AUTOMATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL OPERATIONS IN THE MANUFACTURE OF WOODEN TOYS
Traditional universal and specialized woodworking machines perform the industrial production of details for toys made of solid wood. The automation of such discrete technological processes and operations can be accomplished by designing and implementing automated complexes that provide high performance. The report presents three effective solutions for

The value of play has mainly stayed consistent throughout time. Playing is, without a doubt, one of the essential things we can do. Playing in addition to supporting motor, neurological, and social development improves adaptation by encouraging people to explore diverse perspectives on the world and assisting them in developing methods for dealing with

Unconventional Hysteretic Charge Filling in Moiré‐Reconstructed Helical Trilayer Graphene
In helical trilayer graphene, sequential twisting reconstructs the moiré landscape into periodic domains separated by aperiodic boundaries. Longitudinal transport reveals sweep‐direction‐dependent hysteresis, while the Hall response traces this behavior to hysteretic charge filling at the aperiodic boundaries.

A Geomag‐inspired dynamically reconfigurable POSS framework is constructed to form an antifatigue solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) for lithium metal anodes. The rigid POSS nanocages and reversible hydrogen‐bonded junctions enable adaptive stress dissipation and stable Li+ transport during repeated plating/stripping, thereby suppressing dendrite ...

A Smart Fluid‐Hydraulic System Based on MRF Valve Control and Its Application in Flexible Grasping
This study introduces a smart fluid hydraulic system using MRF valve control for flexible gripping. An MRF‐MSV with an integrated excitation coil and micro‐textured damping channels is designed and validated; micro‐texturing increases hydraulic resistance. Coupled with a soft actuator, the MRF‐MSV enables dynamic bending and grasping.

Girls (and Boys) and Technology (and Toys)
In this inquiry, I have examined how 11- to 14-year-old students used technology to design and produce toys. While most students created toys by hand, I explored the range of computer use, and male and female students’ views of this integrated unit. In addressing three specific research questions, I found that a project-based unit allowed students to ...
