The trace fossil Desmograpton Fuchs, 1895, as many other graphoglyptids, has been considered to be a typical pre-turbidite, three-dimensional burrow system formed in mud and preserved as a casting at the sole of turbidites.

A novel W2TiC2Tx MXene prepared through a MAX‐phase route supports sub‐nanometer Co for highly efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution. Strong Co–W interfacial interactions optimize hydrogen adsorption and catalytic activity, enabling low overpotentials of 63 mV at 10 mA cm−2, small Tafel slope of 44.3 mV dec−1, and exceptional durability at industrially

Names for trace fossils: a uniform approach
The taxonomic treatment of trace fossils needs a uniform approach, independent of the ethologic groups concerned. To this aim, trace fossils are rigorously defined with regard to biological taxa and physical sedimentary structures. Potential ichnotaxobases are evaluated, with morphology resulting as the most important criterion.

A stable Ti3C2Clx/Ti3ZnC2 heterostructure, fabricated by dynamic etching, exhibits outstanding electrocatalytic NRR activity (NH3 yield: 20.1 µg h−1 mg−1, FE: 38.1%) in alkaline media. The corresponding Zn‐N2 battery achieves a peak power density of 36.5 µW cm−2 and an NH3 yield of 13.1 µg h−1 mg−1, providing an advanced strategy for NH3 and ...

A New Method to Speed Up Nannofossil Picking for Monospecific Geochemical Analyses
Investigating the trace elements contained in the coccoliths, i.e., the carbonate exoskeleton, of unicellular marine phytoplankton called coccolithophores, is fundamental for calibrating environmental climate proxies, which are key tools for studying ...

ZrO2 Aerogel‐Supported Pd Nanoparticles for Photothermal CO2 Reduction
Nanoparticle‐based aerogels are promising catalysts for photothermal reactions due to optical transparency, high surface area, and low thermal conductivity. Here, we present deposition of Pd nanoparticles on ZrO2 aerogel granules by a wet‐impregnation approach.
