The makers of fossil burrows are rarely found preserved within them; thus, the producers even of common trace fossils are often conjectural. This is particularly the case for trace fossils like Bifungites that have no known modern analogues.

Surface‐Functionalized MXene for Enhanced Photocatalytic CO2 Reduction
Poly(catechol/p‐cresol)‐functionalized MXene (f‐MXene) enhances oxidation stability while preserving conductivity, enabling efficient interfacial electron transfer in a Cu/f‐MXene/reduced TiO2 photocatalyst.
