Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Pengembangan Mobile Application Tracer Study (Studi Kasus : IBI Darmajaya) [PDF]
IBI Darmajaya has several times held a tracer study. However, because the tracer study was done independently in each department, then it's aspects vary greatly according to the interests of each department.

Acceleration statistics of finite-sized particles in turbulent flow: the role of Faxen forces [PDF]
The dynamics of particles in turbulence when the particle-size is larger than the dissipative scale of the carrier flow is studied. Recent experiments have highlighted signatures of particles finiteness on their statistical properties, namely a decrease ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

An anatomically correct 3D‐printed mouse phantom for magnetic particle imaging studies
We report anatomically correct 3D‐printed mouse phantoms that can be used to plan experiments and evaluate analysis protocols for magnetic particle imaging (MPI) studies.

Understanding the relative importance of vertical and horizontal flow in ice-wedge polygons [PDF]
Ice-wedge polygons are common Arctic landforms. The future of these landforms in a warming climate depends on the bidirectional feedback between the rate of ice-wedge degradation and changes in hydrological characteristics.

Acoustic resonances in microfluidic chips: full-image micro-PIV experiments and numerical simulations [PDF]
We show that full-image micro-PIV analysis in combination with images of transient particle motion is a powerful tool for experimental studies of acoustic radiation forces and acoustic streaming in microfluidic chambers under piezo-actuation in the MHz ...

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Lignin studies III. Lignin as tracer in digestibility investigations
The suitability of lignin as a tracer substance, i.e. the apparent indigestibility of lignin, is dependent on the method used for the determination of lignin. Further, a method suitable for one food is not necessarily suitable for all kinds of food.
