Research on New Cutting-type Anti-climbers for Urban Rail Transit Vehicles

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
[Objective] Currently, the CAC (cutting-type anti-climber) faces the issue of excessively high initial peak cutting force, leading to cutting tool detachment or fracture and finally the anti-climber failure.

The traction engine in Scotland

open access: yes, 2011
Traction engines were used in Scotland from the middle of the nineteenth century until the 1960s – for road haulage, powering threshing mills, ploughing and, in steam roller form, in road making. The book explores their history, with particular focus on

Traction Force Microscopy for Viscoelastic Substrates: A Semi‐Analytical Method

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A semi‐analytical viscoelastic traction force microscopy framework is introduced for quantifying time‐resolved cell tractions on flat finite‐thickness substrates. The method generalizes elastic traction force microscopy to Generalized Maxwell materials, identifies when elastic approximations remain valid and, when they do not, shows that inferred ...
