Scheduling of bandwidth-constrained multimedia traffic [PDF]
Multimedia applications describe unique requirements that must be met by computer network and operating system components. In particular, the time-dependencies of multimedia data require mechanisms to ensure timely and predictable delivery of data from their sources to destinations.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Multi-access, wireless and wired convergence architecture evolution and traffic scheduling mechanism
In 3GPP Rel-16, 3GPP 5G network architecture defines the wireless and wired converged architecture, that is, fixed and mobile converged network architecture, focusing on multiple valuable scenarios of this converged architecture, where the wired and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Scheduling Traffic Signal Maintenance : Technical Paper
The purpose of this investigation was to develop a comprehensive traffic signal and flasher maintenance program that was both economical and practical for a typical maintenance district in a state highway department. All phases of the emergency and preventive maintenance operations were analyzed to determine the best maintenance program.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Traffic-light scheduling on the grid [PDF]
This paper studies the problem of route scheduling under the telephone model of communication networks. Previous work in this model considered mostly the “broadcast” and “gossip” communication primitives. The approach studied here is that of devising simple, distributed universal schedules, that are efficient for wide families of routing instances ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
