NERP‐4–Deleted VGF Impairs β‐Cell Granulogenesis and Insulin Secretion

Neuroendocrine regulatory peptide‐4 (NERP‐4) processed from the VGF promotes insulin secretion and β‐cell maintenance by acting on the amino acid transporter SNAT2. VGF△NERP‐4 impaired β‐cell granulogenesis and granule replenishment needed for the second‐phase insulin secretion.

Bone Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell‐Derived Exosomes Promote M2 Polarization and Protect Against Acute Lung Injury

This study elucidates how BMSCs‐Exos mitigate acute lung injury. (1) Exosomal miR‐137‐3p is transferred to alveolar macrophages. (2) It binds TRIM24 mRNA 3'UTR to suppress its expression, promoting STAT6 acetylation. (3) This drives a phenotypic switch from M1 to M2.
