Programmable Carrier‐Free All‐Enzyme Beads for Modular Continuous‐Flow Biocatalysis

Genetically encoded enzyme building blocks self‐assemble into monodisperse, carrier‐free protein beads via a droplet‐based formulation strategy. These programmable catalytic particles enable modular continuous‐flow biocatalysis, from single‐enzyme reactions to multi‐enzyme cascades and bead–bead coupled reactor systems.

Rab1A Promotes Hepatic Steatosis by Suppressing Mitophagy via the Raf‐1/ERK1/2/PINK1 Signaling Axis

Why does fat accumulate in the liver? Our study reveals Rab1A as the molecular switch that silences the cell's mitochondrial cleanup crew. Turning Rab1A off reactivates mitophagy, clears excess fat, and reverses fatty liver disease in mice—offering a promising new therapeutic target for MASLD, a growing global health challenge.

Summary. Determinations of aspartate and alanine aminotransferase activity in human semen were carried out by the spectrophotometric and colorimetric methods. It was found that the occurrence of interfering substances in semen makes the spectrophotometric method unsuitable without prior partial purification of the enzyme.

TRAIP Mediates Alcohol‐Induced Liver Injury through Regulating β‐catenin Ubiquitin Degradation via Direct Interaction

This study reveals that NF‐κB1‐driven TRAIP upregulation in ALD correlates with disease severity. Mechanistically, TRAIP directly binds β‐catenin via its CC domain and promotes its K48‐linked ubiquitination and degradation, which is independent of the GSK3β/β‐TrCP pathway.
