Knowledge Management and Innovation in Human Resources: Strategic Competencies for Digital Transformation

open access: yesKnowledge and Process Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study examines how knowledge management (KM) structures the dynamics of challenges and competencies associated with digital transformation within the human resources (HR) function in the context of Industry 4.0. Adopting a qualitative, exploratory, and prospective research design, the study combines the Delphi technique with ...

Exometabolomics Reveals Metabolic Modulation Induced by Chia Oil Supplementation in Adipose Tissue Explants From Obese Mice

open access: yesLipids, EarlyView.
The experimental design and the exometabolomic findings obtained by 1H‐NMR analysis of conditioned media from subcutaneous (SAT) and epididymal adipose tissue (EAT) explants of control and obese mice supplemented with chia oil (1.5% (w/w)). Following 8 weeks of control or high‐fat diet and 5 weeks of chia oil supplementation, SAT and EAT explants were ...

Eupalinolide B inhibits periodontitis development by targeting ubiquitin conjugating enzyme UBE2D3

open access: yesMedComm
Periodontitis is a chronic periodontal inflammatory disease caused by periodontal pathogens commonly seen in adults. Eupalinolide B (EB) is a sesquiterpenoid natural product extracted from Eupatorium lindleyanum and has been reported as a potential drug ...

Regenerative Injection Laryngoplasty With Scaffold‐Forming Oligomer and Autologous Motor Endplate‐Expressing Cells: A 6‐Month Porcine Study

open access: yesOtolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective Injection laryngoplasty is a standard‐of‐care intervention for unilateral vocal fold paralysis (UVFP), offering minimally invasive medialization with limited durability. We evaluated a regenerative injectable approach integrating an immunotolerant scaffold‐forming collagen (Oligomer) with autologous motor‐endplate expressing (MEE ...

Functional validation of driver mutation‐specific uveal melanoma biomarkers: role of COL9A3 in cancer cell plasticity

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Uveal melanoma (UM) is a deadly ocular malignancy with well‐described genetic alterations that predict disease outcome. However, our current understanding of the biological underpinnings of high‐risk uveal melanoma progression remains relatively limited. Using RNA expression profiles from 250 patients with UM, we identified 12 novel biomarkers

Optical genome mapping enhanced by refined variant interpretation in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, EarlyView.
Abstract Reliable detection of structural variants (SVs) and copy number variations (CNVs) is crucial in the contemporary diagnostics of pediatric B‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL). However, limitations of commonly used conventional and molecular cytogenetic methods may hinder the accurate genetic characterization of patients.

Universal and Lineage‐Specific Patterns in the Distribution of ECOD Domain Homology Groups Across Superkingdoms

open access: yesProteins: Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Proteins are built from modular domains that serve as fundamental units of structure and evolution. While individual domains have been extensively cataloged, their collective distribution across the lineages of life has remained poorly resolved.

A Triangulenum‐Based Biosensor Platform for Mapping Kinase Activity in T Cells

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Novel peptide biosensors based on long‐lifetime triangulenium dyes are developed for the real‐time, non‐invasive mapping of Akt1 and Src kinase activities in living cells. Utilizing FLIM microscopy, these highly specific, biocompatible probes overcome cellular autofluorescence.
