Clonidine transdermal patch poisoning
Annals of Emergency Medicine, 1988A case of infant clonidine poisoning from a transdermal patch that had been worn for five days by an adult and then discarded is described. The infant became hypotensive with a systolic blood pressure of 38 mm Hg, and a dopamine infusion was required for six hours to maintain adequate blood pressure.
