Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Transducers with Origin Information [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Call a string-to-string transducer regular if it can be realised by one of the following equivalent models: mso transductions, two-way deterministic automata with output, and streaming transducers with registers. This paper proposes to treat origin information as part of the semantics of a regular string-to-string transducer.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Transducer Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This thesis contains transducer systems. It describes properties of various translation models. It demonstrates translation power of these models on concrete examples. This thesis focuses mostly on finite and pushdown transducers.

Electrochemical vibration sensor for low frequency detection: model, design and manufacture

open access: yesMicrosystems & Nanoengineering
Vibration sensors play a crucial role in resource exploration, structural health monitoring, and seismic activity detection. Conventional vibration sensors, primarily including electromagnetic, capacitive, piezoelectric, and fiber optic types, have been ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Phototactic and Chemotactic Signal Transduction by Transmembrane Receptors and Transducers in Microorganisms

open access: yesSensors, 2010
Microorganisms show attractant and repellent responses to survive in the various environments in which they live. Those phototaxic (to light) and chemotaxic (to chemicals) responses are regulated by membrane-embedded receptors and transducers.

Application and development of finite element techniques for transducer design and analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
Ocean acoustic tomography (OAT) is a method for mapping the physical characteristics of the world’s oceans. This technique enables the properties of a region of ocean – its temperatures, salinities, densities, and current speeds – to be inferred by ...
