Negotiating transfer pricing using the Nash bargaining solution

open access: yesInternational Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computer Science, 2017
This paper analyzes and proposes a solution to the transfer pricing problem from the point of view of the Nash bargaining game theory approach. We consider a firm consisting of several divisions with sequential transfers, in which central management ...

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Applications of symbolic computing methods to the dynamic analysis of large systems [PDF]

open access: yes
Since the symbolic computing language is very well suited to the operations with algebraic equations, techniques use the transfer function concept as a tool for the analysis of large linear dynamic systems.

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Compatibility Analysis of Urban Rail Transit Train Control System and Cloud-Edge Computing

open access: yesChengshi guidao jiaotong yanjiu
[Objective] To address the limitations of traditional urban rail transit train control systems that solely rely on the “fault-safety” principle, the feasibility of meeting the SIL4 standard is explored by introducing the cloud-edge computing technology ...
