Eu‐doped {ZnCdO/ZnO} structures grown on Si are developed, showcasing dual‐functionality controlled by europium doping. While high europium concentration transforms the device into an ultrafast, self‐powered photodetector, low‐doped structures can be used as an optoelectronic synapse.

Light irradiation activates the Fe2O3‐BiVO4 heterostructure, enabling efficient solar‐electrochemical coupling in zinc‐air batteries. The built‐in electric field drives directional charge separation, guiding photoelectrons toward oxygen reduction sites and accumulating holes for oxygen evolution, thereby reducing polarization and enhancing discharge ...

An organic neuromorphic architecture for the classification of human motor behavior is presented and validated. It performs somatic integration by linearly combining the activity from three muscles. An investigation of synaptic weights is presented and discussed in relationship with the classification performance.

This article describes an evaluative study focused on the transfer of trained knowledge and skills back to the practice setting. A model of transfer was developed based on factors identified in the literature. Survey methodology was used to obtain data from training participants at the completion of training and again six months later.

Criteria and Transfer of Training
Psychological Reports, 1966Using a new matrix learning task an attempt is made to determine the basis of transfer by observing the effect of using criterion measures at different points in time during the transfer sequence. It was found that for “easy” transfer situations the effect of an independent variable is apparent early in the transfer sequence and on a more “difficult ...

Transfer interest: measuring interest in training content and interest in training transfer
Human Resource Development International, 2019Motivational influences are important predictors of training effectiveness and transfer of training to the workplace. The present study introduces the Transfer Interest Questionnaire (TIQ) to measure trainee interest. Grounded in the person-object theory of interest, the construct encompasses two dimensions: interest in training content and interest in

Transfer of training as analogical mapping
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, 1988Research was conducted to clarify the role of similarity in transfer of training. Subjects learned a procedure for operating a simulated device and were asked to transfer the knowledge of the procedure to a new device. Two factors were varied: (1) the systematicity of the original device model (i.e.
