Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

It would be hard to overstate the importance of transformers in our electrical networks. They’re literally everywhere: on poles and pads, in substations and on private property, on the ground and under it. There are probably dozens in your neighborhood alone. It’s hard to imagine a world without them. But my colleagues and I are doing just that.

The transformations of transformations
Language & Communication, 2000Abstract Zellig S. Harris's original idea of transformations has been transformed (changed) several times in Chomsky's work. In this paper I shall explicate all these transformations (changes). I shall argue that, though their motivations are highly understandable, these transformations (changes) are not necessary for understanding the workings of ...

Galilean transformation, Lorentz transformation, and a new transformation
Proceedings 2011 International Conference on Transportation, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering (TMEE), 2011There is a logical hidden contradiction in general Lorentz transformation because of its non-group. It is necessary to revise this transformation in order to get rid of such a contradiction. However, a new general transformation of coordinate which can constitute group makes imaginary numbers appear on the space coordinates which describe an event ...
