Calculation of exclusive cross sections with the Lorentz integral transform method [PDF]
The longitudinal structure function of the d(e,e'p) exclusive cross section is calculated with the Lorentz integral transform method. In this approach final state interaction is fully taken into account, but without using a final state wave function. Cross sections are obtained via the inversion of the transform.

Inclusive Photoproduction of D* Mesons with Massive Charm Quarks [PDF]
We have calculated the next-to-leading order cross sections for the inclusive production of D* mesons in gamma-p collisions at HERA in two approaches using massive or massless charm quarks. The usual massive theory for the direct cross section with charm

Analytical integration of stress field and tangent material moduli over concrete cross-sections [PDF]
This paper presents a novel stress field and tangent material moduli integration procedure over a cross-section of a biaxially loaded concrete beam. The procedure assumes a sufficiently simple analytical form of the constitutive law of concrete, the ...

Explicit design of framed tube high‐rise buildings via inverse problem approach
An explicit design procedure of cross‐sections of framed tube high‐rise buildings via an inverse problem approach is presented. In the formulation, interstory drift ratios and net deformations of beams are prescribed.

Efficient Method for Lorentz Integral Transforms of Reaction Cross Sections [PDF]
The Lorentz integral transform (LIT) method, which allows ab-initio calculations of few-body cross sections, is reformulated via the Lanczos algorithm. The new technique, being quite general, is tested on inclusive and exclusive photonuclear reactions on three- and four-body nuclei.

Muscle Cross-Sectional Area Segmentation in Transverse Ultrasound Images Using Vision Transformers
Automatically measuring a muscle’s cross-sectional area is an important application in clinical practice that has been studied extensively in recent years for its ability to assess muscle architecture. Additionally, an adequately segmented cross-sectional area can be used to estimate the echogenicity of the muscle, another valuable parameter correlated
