FATT--A TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR THE EGCR CORE [PDF]

open access: green, 1964
The computer program FATT for calculating the transient temperature distribution in the EGCR core is described. The program, in FORTRAN for the IBM 7090, provides an arbitrary choice of axial increments for the reactor core. The heat transfer coefficients are made temperature-dependent. Provisions are available for plotiing the results from the program

Transient Thermal Stresses in Pressure Vessels - Part I: Transient Temperature Distribution - Description of Computer Program [PDF]

open access: green, 1957
This report describes an IBM 704 Computer program for the calculation of transient temperature distribution in axially symmetric solid or hollow bodies. It is the first part of Transient Thermal Stresses in Pressure Vessels. The present report mainly describes the use of the computer program and gives, for two problems, a comparison between computed ...

TVENT: a computer program for analysis of tornado-induced transients in ventilation systems. [TVENT] [PDF]

open access: green, 1978
The report describes TVENT, a portable FORTRAN computer program for predicting flows and pressures in a ventilation system subject to a tornado. The pressure and flow values calculated by TVENT can be used as a basis for structural analysis. TVENT is a one-dimensional, lumped-parameter model with incompressible flow augmented by fluid storage.

THERM: A three-dimensional transient heat conduction computer program [PDF]

open access: bronze, 1991
THERM is a three-dimensional finite-element computer program for solving transient heat conduction problems. This report presents the techniques used to develop THERM. The theory described consists of a governing equation, boundary conditions, and an equivalent variational principle.

The KIVA-II Computer Program for Transient Multidimensional Chemically Reactive Flows with Sprays [PDF]

open access: greenSAE Technical Paper Series, 1987
Since its public release in 1985, the KIVA computer program has been used for the time dependent analysis of chemically reacting flows with sprays in two and three space dimensions. This paper describes some of the improvements to the original version that have been made since that time.

RELAP4: a computer program for transient thermal-hydraulic analysis

open access: green, 1973
RELAP4 is a digital computer program, written in FORTRAN IV, developed to describe the behavior of water-cooled nuclear reactors subjected to postulated transients such as those resulting from loss of coolant, pump failure, or power excursions. The program calculates fluid conditions such as flow, pressure, mass inventory, and quality; thermal ...

A HYBRID-COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR TRANSIENT TEMPERATURE CALCULATIONS ON TREAT FAST REACTOR SAFETY EXPERIMENTS. [PDF]

open access: green, 1967
Report issued by the Argonne National Laboratory discussing a computer program used for fast reactor safety experiments. As stated in the summary, "this report gives a detailed description of a hybrid-computer program for calculating temperatures in a multi-region, axisymmetric, cylindrical configuration consisting of solid materials bounded by flowing
