Transient Dynamics of Pinning

open access: yes, 2000
We study the evolution of an elastic string into the pinned state at driving forces slightly below the depinning threshold force $F_c$. We quantify the temporal evolution of the string by an {\it activity function} $A(t)$ representing the fraction of active nodes at time $t$ and find three distinct dynamic regimes.

Numerical Simulation of Shock and Vibration Tests for Converter Cabinet

open access: yes机车电传动, 2012
According to the standard GB/T 21563 2008 ’Railway applications- Rolling stock equipment- Shock and vibration tests’, the responses of the structure under random loading were computed by the finite-element analysis software ANSYS.

Unravelling the Correlation of Electronic Structure and Carrier Dynamics in CuInS\u3csub\u3e2\u3c/sub\u3e Nanoparticles [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
In this work, we report the direct correlation of photoinduced carrier dynamics and electronic structure of CuInS2 (CIS) nanoparticles (NPs) using the combination of multiple spectroscopic techniques including steady-state X-ray absorption spectroscopy ...

Symbolic dynamics of biological feedback networks

open access: yes, 2009
We formulate general rules for a coarse-graining of the dynamics, which we term `symbolic dynamics', of feedback networks with monotone interactions, such as most biological modules.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

CONTACT FATIGUE LIFE ANALYSIS OF WHEEL EDGE REDUCER GEAR OF DRIVE AXLE OF LOADER BASED ON LOAD SPECTRUM (MT)

open access: yesJixie qiangdu, 2023
In view of the contact fatigue problem of the wheel side reducer gear of the drive axle of the loader during its service, the fatigue life was evaluated. Finite element models of the sun wheel and the planet wheel were established in Hypermesh.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

Demographic insights guide conservation priorities for the threatened orchid Cattleya quadricolor in tropical dry forest

open access: yesOryx
Understanding demographic processes is critical for conserving threatened epiphytes, yet detailed population studies remain rare. We analysed population dynamics in the context of phorophyte structure of the threatened orchid Cattleya quadricolor ...

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...
