Transient Stability Prediction of Power Systems Based on Deep Residual Network and Data Augmentation

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2020
In traditional data-driven power system transient stability assessment methods, the impact of noise in the collected data and the information missing problems are rarely considered for the transient stability prediction. To deal with these problems, this

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

A risk assessment method of multi-form transient voltage stabilities for high-proportion renewable energy sending-end power grids

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electrical Power & Energy Systems
For high-proportion renewable energy sending-end power grids, various transient voltage instabilities including transient overvoltage, transient low voltage, delayed voltage recovery, repeated low voltage ride through, and sustained low voltage, are ...

Transient stability based dynamic security assessment indices

open access: yesCogent Engineering, 2017
As power systems become increasingly stability constrained, the need for dynamic security assessment (DSA) becomes important. However, the resources and technology required to achieve on-line DSA at reasonable cost for utility companies are not easily ...

Spatiotemporal and quantitative analyses of phosphoinositides – fluorescent probe—and mass spectrometry‐based approaches

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Evaluating the significance of samples in deep learning-based transient stability assessment

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research, 2022
Deep learning-based transient stability assessment has achieved big success in power system analyses. However, it is still unclear how much of the data is superfluous and which samples are important for training.

Statistical Assessment of the Impact of Renewable Energy Sources on Transient Stability [PDF]

open access: yes2018 IEEE PES Innovative Smart Grid Technologies Conference Europe (ISGT-Europe), 2018
This paper studies the impact of penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) on the dynamic behavior of large power systems. Statistical analysis of the number of instabilities and the time of occurrence of loss of synchronism in the network was performed following large number of Monte Carlo simulations and considering high degrees of uncertainty. A

A multi-task transient stability assessment method adapted to topology changes using multi-graph sample and aggregate-attention network

open access: yesFrontiers in Energy Research
Transient stability assessment (TSA) plays a pivotal role in guiding power grid risk control strategies. However, it faces challenges when dealing with complex multi-graph inputs generated by pre-fault, fault occurrence, and post-fault states. Meanwhile,

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
