Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Voltage Stability Mechanism of Grid-Connected Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator Under Large Grid-Side Disturbances

open access: yesEnergies
As a mainstream new energy generation technology, elucidating the grid-connected voltage stability mechanisms of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) is critical for ensuring stable integration of high-penetration renewable energy.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Transient Damping of Virtual Synchronous Generator for Enhancing Synchronization Stability During Voltage Dips

open access: yesCES Transactions on Electrical Machines and Systems
Virtual synchronous generators (VSGs) are widely introduced to the renewable power generation, the variable-speed pumped storage units, and so on, as a promising grid-forming solution.

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Transient stability improvement of a transmission system through the application of an artificial neural network-based high-voltage direct current system

open access: yesEnergy Exploration & Exploitation
The increasing disturbances in power system networks present significant challenges to electrical power engineers, often leading to a loss of synchronism in grid-tied generators.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Revisión sobre métodos matemáticos para el estudio de la estabilidad del voltaje en los sistemas eléctricos de potencia

open access: yesRevista Científica de Ingeniería Energética, 2010
In Cuba, from the seventies of the past century, different algorithms to study stationary and transientregimes of the Cuban Electric System were developed. Those algorithms and computer programs werefocused in the study of transient stability. Currently,

Transcriptional profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles from prebiopsy prostate cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...
