Driving the Emission Towards Blue by Controlling the HOMO-LUMO Energy Gap in BF2 -Functionalized 2-(Imidazo[1,5-a]pyridin-3-yl)phenols. [PDF]
Blue emissive materials: boron containing fluorescent compounds have been prepared starting from imidazo[1,5‐a]pyridine phenols. Large Stokes shift, high absolute quantum yields and good photostability are observed in solution. TD‐DFT calculations allowed to find a linear correlation between the HOMO‐LUMO energy gap of these compounds and the Hammett ...

Tetraaza[7]-[15]helicenes Synthesized by Two-Step Strategy: Length-Controlled Chiral π-Systems Exhibiting Amplified Circularly Polarized Luminescence. [PDF]
A modular two‐step strategy provides tetraaza[n]helicenes (n = 7–15) as a homologous series with tunable photophysical and chiroptical properties. Extension beyond n = 11 induces pronounced through‐space π–π interactions, narrowing the energy gap and amplifying circularly polarized luminescence.

Tunable Doping of Rhenium and Vanadium into Transition Metal Dichalcogenides for Two-Dimensional Electronics. [PDF]
A chemical vapor deposition method using mixed molten salts is established for vapor–liquid–solid growth of Re‐ and V‐doped transition metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) monolayers. Tunable semiconductor to metal transition is observed in the as‐grown Re‐ and V‐doped TMDC monolayers. Using heavily V‐doped WSe2 as van der Waals contact, the performance of WSe2‐

Fusobacterium nucleatum promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transiton through regulation of the lncRNA MIR4435-2HG/miR-296-5p/Akt2/SNAI1 signaling pathway. [PDF]
Fusobacterium nucleatum is an anaerobic oral opportunistic pathogen; its precise role in inducing epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) has not been clarified. Here, we reported that F. nucleatum upregulated the expression of MIR4435‐2HG, which could specifically bind with miR‐296‐5p, weakening its ability to silence Akt2.

Light-amplification-assisted sum-frequency generation in erbium-doped thin-film lithium niobate optical waveguides. [PDF]
Abstract Erbium‐doped thin‐film lithium niobate (Er3+:TFLN) enables integrated photonic devices through its efficient photoluminescence. However, the fixed transition energies of erbium ions intrinsically restrict emission to the telecommunications C‐band (1530–1565 nm), limiting spectral versatility.

Dual‐substitution by Ti and Zn for Mn and Ni, respectively, in P2 type Na2/3Ni1/3Mn2/3O2 maintains in‐plane Ni–Mn ordering but disrupts Na+‐vacancy ordering, resulting in long‐cycling‐life non‐aqueous Na cells with smooth charge–discharge voltage curves and little structural change from the P2‐type layered structure. Abstract High‐entropy layered oxide

Multistate models as a framework for estimand specification in clinical trials of complex processes
Intensity‐based multistate models provide a useful framework for characterizing disease processes, the introduction of interventions, loss to followup, and other complications arising in the conduct of randomized trials studying complex life history processes.

Two intermediates, [Pb(CH3NH2)6]I2 and Pb(CH3NH2)4I2, were isolated from the reaction of gaseous CH3NH2 with black MAPbI3, where CH3NH2 acts as a sigma donor ligand to Pb2+. The release of CH3NH2 yields pristine MAPbI3 and PbI2, respectively. Traces of water during this “molten salt approach” reveal Pb(OH)I and the new compound (CH3NH3)5(CH3NH2)2Pb2I9 ...

Essentially a Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithm in trajectory space, transition path sampling can explore molecular dynamics of complex rare event processes. This review discusses several recent path sampling algorithms that are developed by exploiting the analogy between sampling in trajectory space and in configuration space.
