Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

When a young, expanding leaf of soybean is darkened, translocation into it of labelled assimilate from the leaf below is depressed. The darkened leaf does not grow to full size and abscissas prematurely. The same effect is shown if the young leaf is developing in light but deprived of carbon dioxide.
