Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Novel Sub-Harmonic Injection-Locked Balanced Oscillator [PDF]
A novel sub-harmonic injection-locked balanced oscillator is proposed. The circuit provides two outputs with a 180° ° phase difference by employing a transmission line section for impedance transformation to meet the oscillation conditions.

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Impedance matching and emission properties of optical antennas in a nanophotonic circuit
An experimentally realizable prototype nanophotonic circuit consisting of a receiving and an emitting nano antenna connected by a two-wire optical transmission line is studied using finite-difference time- and frequency-domain simulations.

Abruptly changing from aerobic to anaerobic conditions (sudden anaerobization) induced growth inhibition and a significant increase in intracellular labile ferrous iron in the aerotolerant anaerobe Amphibacillus xylanus. We found that free flavins mediate efficient electron transfer from NADH to ferric iron under anaerobic conditions, suggesting that ...

Strong coupling of spin qubits to a transmission line resonator
We propose a mechanism for coupling spin qubits formed in double quantum dots to a superconducting transmission line resonator. Coupling the resonator to the gate controlling the interdot tunneling creates a strong spin qubit--resonator interaction with ...

ITER ECH&CD Transmission Line Layout Development [PDF]
A primary contributor to the effectiveness of the ITER electron cyclotron (EC) heating & current drive (H&CD) transmission line (TL) is the distortion of the waveguide which has a strong, direct correlation with power transmission efficiency and ...

Josephson junction-embedded transmission-line resonators: from Kerr medium to in-line transmon
We provide a general method to find the Hamiltonian of a linear circuit in the presence of a nonlinearity. Focussing on the case of a Josephson junction embedded in a transmission-line resonator, we solve for the normal modes of the system by taking into
