The mid‐infrared transmission spectra of Antarctic ureilites
Meteoritics, 1993Abstract— The mid‐infrared (4000–450 cm−1; 2.5–22.2 μm) transmission spectra of seven Antarctic ureilites and 10 Antarctic H‐5 ordinary chondrites are presented. The ureilite spectra show a number of absorption bands, the strongest of which is a wide, complex feature centered near 1000 cm−1 (10 μm) due to Si‐O stretching vibrations in silicates.

Inverse analysis of triarylamine-dye transmission spectra
SPIE Proceedings, 2015Inverse analysis of transmission spectra for triarylamine dye in acetone is presented. This analysis employs a parametric model of transmission through a sample of finite thickness, where the permittivity function is represented parametrically by a linear combination of Lorentz oscillator models.

Band shapes in far infrared transmission spectra
Infrared Physics, 1977Abstract Transmission bands, calculated with the aid of the classical dispersion formulae, show good agreement with measured transmission bands in the far i.r. of supported thin films, when appropriate values of all the relevant parameters are chosen. The general difference between far i.r. and near i.r.

Spectra restoration of a transmissive periodic structure in near-field diffraction (Talbot spectra)
Journal of the Optical Society of America A, 2015The free-space near-field diffraction of a transmissive periodic structure is studied with Fresnel-Kirchhoff diffraction formula. A new effect named Talbot spectra is proposed theoretically from the results, showing that under some conditions the spectra of an incident coherent polychromatic light can be completely restored after the diffraction.

Transient Oscillations In Semiconductor Differential Transmission Spectra
SPIE Proceedings, 1988Several semiconductor materials were studied using femtosecond pump-probe spectroscopy. Oscillatory structures are observed in the differential transmission spectra of the probe pulse at the very early times when the probe pulse precedes the pump pulse.
