Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Analysis and design of a wideband bandstop filter with multi‐transmission zeros (TZs) and reflection zeros (RZs) are presented. The proposed topology consists of N‐1 shunt open‐circuited stubs (OCSs) cascaded through N‐sections of transmission lines, and

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Three element resonator lowpass filter
The conventional lowpass prototype filter with the finite transmission zeros close‐to‐band edge often yields negative circuit elements that lead to a practical difficulty of physical realizations.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.

A Dual-Band Waveguide Bandpass Filter with Adjustable Transmission Zeros
This paper presents a planar insert-loaded compact, dual-pole, dual-band, waveguide bandpass filter with adjustable multiple transmission zeros. Two identical inserts are placed on the transverse plane of a standard WR-90 waveguide at 8.41[Formula: see ...

Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Effects of broken time-reversal symmetry on transmission zeros in the Aharonov-Bohm interferometer
In this paper, we study the behavior of the transmission zeros in the closed Aharonov-Bohm (AB) interferometer with an embedded scattering center in one arm and the corresponding change in the transmission phase when the time-reversal symmetry is broken ...

Two compact configurations for implementing transmission zeros in microstrip filters [PDF]
This contribution presents compact structures for the implementation of transmission zeros using the zero shifting property. First, two open-loop resonators operating at different resonances are employed.
