Transdermal Delivery of Adriamycin to Transplanted Ehrlich Ascites Tumor in Mice [PDF]

open access: goldPharmaceutics, 2013
There is considerable interest in the skin as a site of anti-cancer drug application. Nevertheless, the skin poses a formidable barrier to drug penetration, thereby limiting topical and transdermal bioavailability. However, we previously showed that a thioglycolate-based depilatory agent increases the drug permeability of mouse skin.

GROWTH OF MYC. LEPRAEMURIUM IN MICE TRANSPLANTED WITH EHRLICH ASCITES TUMOR CELLS

open access: bronzeThe Kurume Medical Journal, 1962
Several data on the growth of Myc. lepraemurium in the experimental mouse and rat by inoculation through subcutaneous, intraperitoneal, intracerebral, intratesticular, and intravenous routes, respectively, have been already reported. The factors influencing the susceptibility of mice, especially the kinds of mouse strains, to the bacilli were ...

CELL PROLIFERATION IN NEWLY TRANSPLANTED EHRLICH ASCITES TUMOR CELLS

open access: closedCell Proliferation, 1968
ABSTRACT Ehrlich ascites tumor cells collected from donor mice on the 5th day after inoculation were injected into the peritoneal cavity of new recipient mice. Cell cycle times were drastically shortened by transplantation, for instance, the length of the cell cycle from 47 to 21.5 hr, and the duration of S from 26.5 to 16.5 hr.
