Preparation and Characteristics of MAPbBr3 Perovskite Quantum Dots on NiOx Film and Application for High Transparent Solar Cells

open access: yesMicromachines, 2018
In this work, a MAPbBr3 quantum dot (QD-MAPbBr3) layer was prepared by a simple and rapid method. Octylammonium bromide (OABr) gives the MAPbBr3 better exciton binding energy, good surface morphology, and stability. To form a nanocrystalline thin film on

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Investigation of impact of kesterites as hole transport layer on (FA)2BiCuI6 based ecofriendly double perovskite solar cell to obtain optimized PCE above 25%

open access: yesResults in Optics
This paper presents a detailed study of double perovskite (FA)2BiCuI6 based perovskite solar cells(PSC) using different kesterites as hole transport layers (HTL) and titanium-based electron transport layers (ETL).

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Superposition-Coding Aided Multiplexed Hybrid ARQ Scheme for Improved End-to-End Transmission Efficiency

open access: yes, 2009
In this paper, we propose a novel superposition-coding-aided multiplexed hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) scheme for the sake of improving both the link layer and the transport control protocol (TCP) layer efficiency.

YlmG1 is localized exclusively to the chloroplast envelope membrane and is involved in preprotein translocation in Arabidopsis thaliana

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Elliptic curve algorithm integration in the secure shell transport layer [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This document describes algorithms based on Elliptic Cryptography (ECC) for use within the Secure Shell (SSH) transport protocol. In particular, it specifies Elliptic Curve Diffie-Hellman (ECDH) key agreement, Elliptic Curve Menezes-Qu-Vanstone (ECMQV ...

A Neutrally Stratified Boundary-Layer: A Comparison of Four Large-Eddy-Simulation Computer Codes

open access: yes, 1994
A neutrally stratified Ekman layer limited in depth by a stress-free rigid lid has been simulated using four different large-eddy simulation computer codes.
