Variants in ZZS Complex‐Associated Genes TEX11 and M1AP Are Responsible for Male Infertility and Nonobstructive Azoospermia

open access: yesAndrology, Volume 14, Issue 6, Page 1847-1858, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Nonobstructive azoospermia (NOA) is the most severe form of male infertility, with genetic factors contributing to approximately 30% of cases. However, only a small fraction of all NOA cases can be explained by the current genetic findings.

Management of congenital female genital tract anomalies related to primary amenorrhea and/or cyclic abdominal pain: A retrospective cohort study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, Volume 105, Issue 9, Page 1810-1822, September 2026.
Overall, 21 patients with uterine, cervical, and vaginal aplasia were treated successfully with neovagina formation. In 6 out of 8 patients, with obstructed uterine cavity, anastomosis was successful; one underwent hysterectomy and one elective hemi‐hysterectomy.

Stapled side‐to‐side anastomosis to treat a pelvic flexure stricture in a miniature horse

open access: yesEquine Veterinary Education, Volume 38, Issue 9, Page e603-e608, September 2026.
Summary Fecaliths are a recognised cause of non‐strangulating colon obstruction in horses. Although they more commonly obstruct the small colon, they can also lodge in the pelvic flexure, requiring enterotomy for removal. Stricture at the enterotomy site is an uncommon but surgically significant complication.

The Complementary Roles of the Prostate Health Index and Multiparametric Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Optimizing the Detection of Clinically Significant Prostate Cancer in Patients With Prostate‐Specific Antigen Levels Below 10 Ng/mL

open access: yesInternational Journal of Urology, Volume 33, Issue 9, September 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate complementary roles of Prostate Health Index (phi) and multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) in detection of any prostate cancer (PC) and clinically significant PC (csPC) and to investigate likelihood of risk stratification for recommending prostate biopsy in men with prostate‐specific antigen (PSA) ≤ 10 ng ...
