Keratin 19 as a prognostic marker and contributing factor of metastasis and chemoresistance in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Short Term Travel Time Prediction Using Floating Car Data Based On Cluster Analysis

open access: yes, 2008
Precise short-term prediction of traffic parameters such as flow and travel-time is a necessary component for many ITS applications. This work describes the research on a novel, fast, and robust algorithm which is based on a partitioning cluster analysis.

Somatic mutational landscape in von Hippel–Lindau familial hemangioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The causes of central nervous system (CNS) hemangioblastoma in Von Hippel–Lindau (vHL) disease are unclear. We used Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) on familial hemangioblastoma to investigate events that underlie tumor development. Our findings suggest that VHL loss creates a permissive environment for tumor formation, while additional alterations ...

Arterial short-term travel time prediction using Bluetooth data

open access: yes, 2014
This project recognized lack of data analysis and travel time prediction on arterials as the main gap in the current literature. For this purpose it first investigated reliability of data gathered by Bluetooth technology as a new cost effective method ...

Adaptor protein CIN85 potentiates the motility of osteosarcoma cells via the Akt/mTOR and MMP2‐COL3A1 axis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Predicting the travel time of arterial traffic using particle filter with speed matrix

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2018
Travel time prediction is an essential part of intelligent transportation system applications. However, the existing travel time prediction methods mainly focus on the freeway due to its simplicity and the high coverage of sensors and few researches have

Trajectory Regression for Travel-Time Prediction

open access: yesTransactions of the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence, 2010
We propose a new method for predicting the travel-time along an arbitrary path between two locations on a map. Unlike traditional approaches, which focus only on particular links with heavy traffic, our method allows probabilistic prediction for arbitrary paths including links having no traffic sensors. We introduce two new ideas: to use string kernels

Rule-based transit signal priority control method using a real-time transit travel time prediction model

open access: yes, 2013
An advanced rule-based Transit Signal Priority (TSP) control method is presented in this paper. An on-line transit travel time prediction model is the key component of the proposed method, which enables the selection of the most appropriate TSP plans for

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...
