Abstract Premise Changing climates are leading to more frequent and severe heat waves, potentially threatening plant populations. Both acclimation to stress and selection for heat‐escape or heat‐resistance phenotypes occur during heat waves. However, plastic responses and selection do not necessarily interact cohesively—even producing trait responses ...

Etiology of Mango Tree Mortality in Pakistan
ABSTRACT The present research investigated the etiology of mango tree mortality in Pakistan. The survey of mango orchards conducted during 2004–05 and 2005–06 revealed a severe infestation of the bark beetle. These beetles were collected for their identification and isolation of fungi associated with them.

Therapeutic Silencing of Tmprss6 Reduces Iron‐Induced Inflammation and Prolongs Survival in MDS Mice
ABSTRACT Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are a heterogeneous group of clonal hematopoietic disorders characterized by ineffective hematopoiesis, cytopenias, and an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Despite advances in supportive and targeted therapies, disease‐modifying interventions remain limited.

Diabetes combined with ischemic stroke (DMIS) exacerbates brain infarct size and neuronal damage compared to nondiabetic ischemic stroke (IS). This study reveals that microRNA‐34a (miR‐34a) plays a key role in DMIS pathogenesis: miR‐34a directly targets and suppresses brain‐derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) and Sine oculis homeobox 3 (SIX3), promoting
