An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

On Sup-continuous Triangle Functions
Let \(\Delta^ +\) denote the set of probability distribution functions of nonnegative random variables, partially ordered by the pointwise partial ordering of functions. Let \(\Delta^ +_ \delta\) consist of the functions \(\delta_{a,b}\) in \(\Delta^ +\) which are zero up to \(a\) and \(b\) thereafter.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

Robot Three-Finger Grasping Strategy Based on DeeplabV3+
Researchers all over the world are aiming to make robots with accurate and stable human-like grasp capabilities, which will expand the application field of robots, and development of a reasonable grasping strategy is the premise of this function. In this

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Bernstein-type operators on triangles
The aim of the paper is to construct some univariate Bernstein-type operators on triangle, their product and Boolean sum, which interpolate a given function on the edges respectively at the vertices of triangle.

Phillips-Type q-Bernstein Operators on Triangles
The purpose of the paper is to introduce a new analogue of Phillips-type Bernstein operators Bm,qufu,v and Bn,qvfu,v, their products Pmn,qfu,v and Qnm,qfu,v, their Boolean sums Smn,qfu,v and Tnm,qfu,v on triangle Th, which interpolate a given function on

The fractional chromatic number of triangle-free subcubic graphs [PDF]
Heckman and Thomas conjectured that the fractional chromatic number of any triangle-free subcubic graph is at most 14 / 5. Improving on estimates of Hatami and Zhu and of Lu and Peng, we prove that the fractional chromatic number of any triangle-free ...
