Total forcing number of the triangular grid
Let $T$ be a square triangular grid with $n$ rows and columns of vertices and $n$ an even number. A set of edges $E\subset E(T)$ completely determines perfect matchings on $T$ if there are no two different matchings on $T$ coinciding on $E.$ We establish

Flow Feature Aligned Mesh Generation and Adaptation [PDF]
Methods which allow for construction of flow feature aligned meshes in two- and three-dimensions have been developed in this thesis to investigate their potential for improvements in the numerical solution relative to globally refining the mesh.

ABSTRACT Layered 2D materials are considered as promising for memristive applications due to their ultimate vertical scalability compared to conventional semiconductor films and pronounced hysteresis properties. Bias‐resolved Raman and Photoluminescence mapping is used to quantify strain from phonon shifts and carrier density from the exciton‐trion ...

Universal Oxychlorination Strategy in Halide Solid Electrolytes for All‐Solid‐State Batteries
A WO2Cl2‐driven oxychlorination strategy enables bulk oxygen incorporation into close‐packed LixMCl6 (M = Zr, Y, Er, In) halide lattices. Oxygen is selectively anchored by W6+ as lattice‐integrated [WO2Cl4]2− units, regulating the anionic framework, diversifying Li coordination, and weakening Li–Cl interactions.

Emerging Materials and Future Strategies for Solid Oxide Electrochemical Cells
Solid oxide electrochemical cells operate under strongly coupled electrochemical and thermodynamic conditions, where performance is constrained by interactions among crystal structure, defect chemistry, and interfacial evolution. This review, based on a structure‐defect‐property‐durability framework, reveals the roles of lattice symmetry and defect ...

Power domination on triangular grids with triangular and hexagonal shape
The concept of power domination emerged from the problem of monitoring electrical systems. Given a graph G and a set S ⊆ V (G), a set M of monitored vertices is built as follows: at first, M contains only the vertices of S and their direct neighbors, and

Cellular Automata in the Triangular Grid
Cellular automata are parallel computing devices working on a discrete timescale. Each cell of a regular grid has a finite number of states and the state in the next time instant depends only on the actual state of the cell itself and the states of its neighbor cells.

Unpacking the Farmland Capitalization Effect of Ethanol Establishment
ABSTRACT We unpack the impact of expansions in ethanol production—as measured by proximity to newly constructed ethanol plants and capacity expansions—on farmland values using land transaction data from Kansas in combination with modern causal inference techniques.
