Investigation of tribological characteristics of ceramic coating
Al2O3 and Al2O3-10 wt% graphite ceramic coatings were deposited on 304L stainless steel substrate by atmospheric plasma spraying using air- hydrogen plasma. The tribological behavior of reciprocating ball-on-disk of ceramic coatings was investigated under various loads. The counterparts were made of 99.9% Al2O3 ceramic ball with diameter 10mm.
